John F. Gould Legacy Art preserves and shares the work of American painter and illustrator John Fleming Gould (1906–1996). A Pratt Institute graduate, Saturday Evening Post illustrator, General Electric art consultant, and beloved educator, Gould spent nearly seven decades capturing the spirit of the Hudson River Valley and the founding story of America. His collection — spanning oils, acrylics, watercolors, and pen-and-ink originals — is managed by his son Robert Gould, in partnership with Art & Anthropology Press. Works are held in private collections and institutional archives at Syracuse University and the New York State Museum.
